HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL

The hotel is situated in El Relleno, on the west bank of the river. The village on the east bank is called Fronteras, which leads to Petén. The two villages are connected by the largest bridge in Central America (1 km long). From the top of the bridge there is a great view of the hotel at the foot of the West side.

From Tikal: Once in Fronteras, cross the bridge and then take a left to retrace your steps under the bridge about 300m until you see the hotel on your right.

From Guatemala City: Get off the bus in El Relleno before crossing the bridge and walk down the path on the right-hand side under the bridge about 300m until you see the hotel on your right.

 

From Livingston: Ask the driver of the boat to drop you off at Hotel Backpackers in El Relleno.

Regardless of where you arrive from, you can call us from Fronteras and we will come to pick you up and bring you across the river to Hotel Backpackers.
